Custom PC Tycoon Basement

Two places in Custom PC Tycoon get called a basement. One is a shed upgrade under your lot. The other is a secret room under the Advanced Electronics Store. This page is the store basement: elevator, trivia gate, Diamond shelves. If you came here looking for floor-two desks, use desks and servers instead.

The store basement is easy to miss because the Advanced shop already looks like an endgame building. Players buy a GPU on the first floor, leave, and never press the elevator. The hidden floor sells extra items — community notes mention server parts and a mouse pad — priced in Diamonds, same currency as the rest of that store. You do not pay Sunstone here. You do not pay Cash. If your wallet is still Cash-only, finish currencies first.

How to reach it

1. Unlock and walk to the Advanced Electronics Store on the shop road. That is the Diamond building, not the starter cash store and not NextGen.
2. Find the elevator inside. It is not a shed button.
3. Step in and answer the multiple-choice trivia prompt. Community write-ups call it a simple question. If you fail, step out, rejoin if the prompt sticks, and try again. Controls covers hidden HUD prompts.
4. After a correct answer the cabin opens on a second shop floor. Buy only what you can place the same session.

You do not need the shop Premium gamepass to ride the elevator. You do not need VIP. Roblox Premium’s 10% does not open the door. See gamepasses if you were about to buy a pass for this room.

What the room is for

Think of it as a Diamond overflow shelf, not a third currency. Server boards, niche peripherals, and pads that never appear on the cash street show up here. A mouse pad belongs on a desk setup, not on a podium. A server part belongs on a server setup. If you cannot name the slot, do not buy the object.

The basement does not replace secret parts. 4TB RAM, Secret Mouse, and the SCI-FI X9 Case are world pickups. This room is a shop. You still pay Diamonds. A “secret” that costs currency is just a hidden shelf.

Community item lists still name several Diamond pieces that sit downstairs rather than on the Advanced ground floor: Animatix Vimmies (RGB mouse pad with a batman-penguin render), Tron Mouse, Luminous Keys (wavy RGB keyboard), Melodic Aura (headset), and NeonTech UW (four monitors on one stand with an RGB back panel). Prices sit in the late Diamond band. Treat those names as a shopping list to confirm live, not as a day-two goal. A patch can move a piece upstairs.

What to buy first

Buy a part that completes a pad you already own. An extra server CPU for an empty rack is a poster. A mouse pad for a desk that already has a PC, keyboard, and mat is income. Rank Diamond purchases on the tier list the same way you rank street-level GPUs.

If you are converting toward Sunstone, do not empty the Diamond pile on a novelty pad. One Sunstone costs a mountain of Diamonds. The basement will still be there after NextGen.

Common mistakes

• Confusing the shed basement with this elevator. Shed space is furniture. This is a store.
• Arriving with Cash. The clerk does not care about your podium wallet.
• Skipping the trivia and assuming the elevator is decoration.
• Buying a full themed kit you cannot carry home in one trip. Inventory fills. Walk, place, return.
• Treating the room as a codes substitute. Codes still live in Settings on the Codes Hub.

After you clear the shelf

Walk your lot. Place every basement part. Tick the progression checklist. If a Steampunk rack from the changelog needs a board you just saw downstairs, buy the complete kit, not one decorative pipe.

Then go back to the first floor of Advanced and compare prices. Hidden does not mean cheaper. The income calculator still wins arguments.
