Custom PC Tycoon How to Unlock Desks and Servers

Podiums teach the game. Desks and servers pay the late game. Both still use the same rule: a complete setup on a pad ticks every 20 seconds. The difference is how much extra value you can stack on the furniture.

Unlock this chapter after the cheap podium row is working. The make money guide and the progression checklist should already show several filled pads.

Unlocking desks

Desks appear after you reach the second floor of the workspace. The first desk has been listed at 15,000 Gold, not Cash. That is why players who never convert stall at the stairs. Read currencies before you walk upstairs broke.

Community prices for the five desks:

1. Down-right corner — 15,000 Gold
2. Middle right — 40,000 Gold
3. Above the second — 200,000 Gold
4. Top-right corner — 500,000 Gold
5. Top middle, facing the street — 1,000,000 Gold

Buy them in order. Each empty desk is a second podium problem with a larger price tag.

What a desk wants

A desk is not only a PC stand. You can place:

• A PC (some desks allow vertical or horizontal)
• Mouse
• Keyboard
• Mousepad / mat
• Headphones
• One or two monitors

Fill the peripherals. A naked tower on a million-Gold desk wastes the unlock. The desk setups page lists mats, boards, and exclusive event pads. The Secret Mouse from secret parts belongs here.

New desk sets in the electronics store (including cash desk sets called out in the live changelog) are collection layers. Buy a set when the income matches the look, not because the sign is new. The changelog is the date stamp.

Servers take the last floor

Server racks show up after desks are part of your routine. They use their own motherboards, CPUs, and drives. Themed racks — including the Steampunk server set mentioned in the current Roblox description — are shop packages, not secret hunts. Catalogue them on server setups.

Servers eventually overshadow podium AFK. That does not mean you delete podiums. Keep every pad filled. The income calculator lets you compare one more desk versus one more rack when both are on sale.

A clean unlock order

1. Eight working podium PCs.
2. Convert enough Cash to Gold for desk one.
3. Place a complete PC plus every peripheral you own.
4. Clone the desk spec as you buy desks two through five.
5. Start server parts only when Gold and Diamond income can feed the rack shop.
6. Push toward Sunstone after racks are ticking.

If you are still learning the workbench, stay on build and sell. Desk peripherals will not save an incomplete tower.

Gold math before you climb the stairs

Desk one at 15,000 Gold is a convert decision. If that convert empties the Cash you needed for podium seven, stay downstairs. The currencies page exists for this fork. After desk one is placed with a full peripheral ring, clone the spec. Desk three at 200,000 Gold is not a decoration budget.

Servers tempt players who watched a Steampunk trailer. A rack with one drive is a poster. Buy the full kit listed on server setups, place it, then AFK. Keep podiums alive; they are still free ticks.

If a new desk set appears in the electronics store, treat it like a cash PC set: compare income, then color. The changelog and events pages tell you whether the set is seasonal and about to leave.
