Custom PC Tycoon Colors

Custom PC Tycoon sells the fantasy of a matching battlestation. The workbench is where that fantasy becomes buttons. Players stall here: they buy spray before a PSU, then wonder why the podium pays nothing. This page is the color system only. Assembly order stays on build and sell. Income order stays on make money.

The official description still brags that you can “make the best setups with custom colors and show off.” That line is true and it is also bait. Color does not raise the 20-second tick. A black-and-orange Sunstone tower and a default beige tower with the same parts earn the same Cash. Paint after the PC is complete and placed.

Workbench tier 1 — assemble only

The starter bench lets you seat parts. No spray. Finish a full PC: case, motherboard, CPU, cooling, RAM, storage, GPU, PSU. Place it. Then look at the buy button beside the bench.

Workbench tier 2 — primary colors

Community records put the first bench upgrade at 100 Cash. The board grows screwdrivers and a ruler. That tier unlocks primary part colors — the big surfaces: case shell, often the main plastic on fans or covers depending on the model. Spend the 100 Cash after podium two exists, not before podium one has a complete PC.

Primary paint is enough for a clean row. Eight identical cases in one color photographs better than one rainbow showpiece and seven gray boxes. Clone the spec across pads, then clone the color.

Workbench tier 3 — secondary colors

A later Cash buy (community notes point at another small bench purchase) drops spray cans on the board and unlocks secondary part colors. That is trims, accents, inner shrouds — the details that make a build look “RGB” in screenshots. Do this after the progression checklist shows several paying pads.

Secondary paint is where sessions disappear. You can recolor a GPU shroud for twenty minutes and earn nothing. Set a timer. If the row is still on cash-shop GPUs, stop painting and open the early-game tier list.

Premium paints

The shop Premium gamepass advertises extra paint options for PCs and the shed. That is on top of workbench colors, not instead of them. You do not need the pass to use tier 2 and tier 3 spray. Buy the pass for income and exclusive parts first, paint second. Details sit on gamepasses.

VIP does not replace spray. A VIP case is still a case slot. Color it after it is filled.

Desks, peripherals, and servers

A desk PC can use the same workbench colors before you carry it upstairs. Mouse, keyboard, mat, and cans on desk setups have their own models. Some event mats from events are already painted. Do not grind secondary spray on a desk that is missing a mouse.

Server racks from the Steampunk set and other server setups are furniture plus boards. Color the tower you can see. Do not expect every drive sled to take a secondary can.

A color session that does not leak money

1. Place complete PCs on every cheap podium.
2. Buy bench tier 2. Paint primary on the whole row in one color.
3. Only then buy bench tier 3 if you still want accents.
4. Paint one show pad for screenshots. Leave the farm pads alone.
5. If you own shop Premium, try one exclusive paint on the show pad and stop.

Redeem codes before you spend Cash on cans. A free Whoosh pair or a 6Bit V0 changes the look more than a new hue.
